Stay safe - Cold Calling and Scams Awareness Talk with Trading Standards : Tue 08 Dec 18:00

Dear Resident's,

Greenwich Trading Standards will be attending Turning Pages Community Centre, 6 Nesbit Road, SE9 6HS on Tuesday 8th December 2026 at 6 - 7pm to deliver a talk on cold calling, recent scams, and fraud.

With Christmas approaching, fraudsters often increase their activity, targeting residents through doorstep cold callers, telephone scams, text messages, emails, and online shopping fraud. This is a great opportunity to learn about the latest scams being used and how to protect yourself, your family, and your neighbours.

We encourage all residents to attend and ensure they are up to date with current scam trends and advice on staying safe.

Kind regards

PCSO Watchorn
